The working title for my game development project is AGWAN, "A Game Without a Name". I have ideas for a permanent name, but it is not a priority.
I'm building a procedurally generated survival game with base building and crafting components.
As of 2024, I am switching from my custom C++ implementation to using Godot 4. While there were no show stoppers with my C++ implementation, I believe that taking a step back and using a game engine will speed development in the long run. I am teaching myself Godot and hope to have a new start in time for the next meetup in April 2024.
