The leaves will be on the ground soon, so I got out to Hopkinton State Park to get some seasonal pictures.
Next stop the winter greys, and critters hitting the feeders.
Not quite peak color yet. The colors are only just starting to turn at Hopkinton State Park.
I'll need to try again in a couple of days.
I'm a little uncertain about the orange butterfly, I think it is either a Monarch or a Viceroy. Monarch seems more likely given my location.
I believe the black butterfly is a Black Swallowtail.

Planted to attract hummingbirds, the flower-bed is doing good work.
Since the flowers started to bloom we have been waiting for a visit from humingbirds, butterflys and moths.
We were visited by a Clearwing Hummingbird Moth at the end of July 2023. Here is a selection of pictures of the vistor.
